About the position 💼

In the role as Backend-developer at Hailey HR, you will work in our development team that includes frontend & backend developers. We work closely with Quality Assurance Engineers, UX designers and Product owners to ensure continuous and accurate deliveries of high quality.

Our Backend is built in .NET Core and largely hosted in UpCloud, a fully European PaaS. We use modern patterns and frameworks such as DDD, Event Sourcing and CQRS to build our application in a microservice architecture.

We’re looking for a person who enjoys the idea of having the code you write published multiple times a day and recognizes the value of automated CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, code analysis, and deployment. You should also appreciate being involved in requirement discussions from a backend perspective and want to understand customer needs.

It's perfectly fine if you are not familiar with the frameworks and patterns used - curiosity and willingness to grow is more important to us.

What are we looking for?

• Education/experience: A Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field. Alternatively, a post-secondary education in software development combined with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Language: Full professional fluency in Swedish and strong English skills, both spoken and written.
• Mindset: Curious and eager to learn, like taking initiatives and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

What you will learn/might already know:

• DDD, .Net Core, Azure DevOps, Event sourcing, CQRS, Valkey (Redis-cache), Layered architecture, AAA-patterns for unit testing, Scripted CI/CD-pipelines, OpenId Connect, Crypto shredding.
